Terms.

Short, practitioner-readable terms. They cover what this site is, what it is not, and what you can and cannot rely on it for.

By using this website you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree with any of them, do not use the site.

What this site is

This site describes the services offered by Code Velocity Labs, a UK-based software delivery and code review practice. It is a marketing and information site. It does not constitute an offer to provide services. Any engagement begins with a signed statement of work that supersedes anything written here.

What this site is not

Nothing on this site is legal, financial, regulatory, or formal engineering advice for your specific situation. Article posts, methodology notes, and proof tables describe what we have done on other engagements and what we believe to be true in general. Your situation may differ. Do not make architectural, hiring, fundraising, or due diligence decisions based on a website alone. Talk to us, or to another qualified practitioner, first.

Accuracy and availability

We work to keep the content current and the site available, but we do not guarantee either. Performance figures, velocity comparisons, and case examples are drawn from real engagements anonymised for client confidentiality and may not predict your specific outcome. We may update or remove any content at any time without notice.

Intellectual property

The written content, page structure, imagery, and the underlying site code are the intellectual property of Code Velocity Labs unless explicitly marked otherwise. You are welcome to link to any public page and to quote short passages with attribution. Reproducing whole pages or republishing methodology content as your own is not permitted.

The open-source Prototype Factory repository is licensed separately under the terms set out in that repository.

External links

This site links to external resources, including LinkedIn profiles, GitHub repositories, and third-party articles. We do not control those resources and we are not responsible for their content.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Code Velocity Labs is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or your reliance on anything written on it. If you engage us under a signed statement of work, the liability terms in that statement of work apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
